Thought of the Week 11/30-12/6

“Life is a tale told by an idiot -- full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”-- William Shakespeare

Its funny how William Shakespeare could make a statement that still is applicable today. Most of "life" is just a roaring noise that people place value on, but really signifies not much. If we can sift through the noise and find the right things to concentrate on, we can really excel in life. So this week, find your way through the noise and look for the quiet, serene, moments of real life. --O

Thought of the Week 11/23-11/29

"In order to succeed you must fail, so that you know what not to do the next time" ~ Anthony D'Angelo

Success and failure rolls through my mind a lot. Perhaps it is because so much time in this life is spent quantifying your time here into a success or failure. The line between the two are so thin, yet there is a world of difference in how you are perceived if you succeed or fail. But what we must remember is that even though the perception between the two are great, there are just a few little missteps that separate the two. If we can recognize those, we ultimately can define our own success. Have a great week and a wonderful holiday. --O

Thought of the Week 11/16-11/22

" To taste the real flavor of success, we must combine failures, passions and courage all together in one action."-- John Pangalila

Many people look for the recipe to success. It really differs for everyone, but there are some main ingredients: Failure, Passion, and Courage. Some people think that failure is not a part of success because of the juxtaposition of the words, but you really don't know success without failure. Failure shows you the pitfalls on your journey. Passion is what drives you to continue moving even after the failure. But it is the Courage to even start your journey to success that takes you to that successful level. Have a great week!--O

Thought of the Week 11/9-11/15

Most people in life aim at nothing and hit it with exceptional accuracy... --O

It hit me this past weekend. Most of us spend our lives wandering aimlessly and have no idea where we are headed, then we are surprised that we haven't accomplished anything. One of the biggest obstacles in success is to make a goal and get started on it. Once you have a direction in life, it breathes energy into you and your endeavors. It's simple... Pick a direction and go for it!

Thought of the Week 11/2-11/8

" Strange thing about the rain... It reveals all of the leaks."-- Mary Ellen Smith

Thank you Mary Ellen Smith! It's strange how profound one simple thought can be. Its been said many a times about how the rain makes you appreciate the sunny days. But without the rain in our lives, we wouldn't even know where those problem areas are that need to be plugged. So even though those problems seem awful, be thankful for the rain, because without it, those problems may have grown bigger unrecognized. Have a blessed week...
